Hello from Declo, Idaho

We left Fort Bridger, WY around 7:45AM in 33 degrees (burrrr) and arrived today at the Village of Trees RV resort which is very charming and yes, there are lots of trees.  We can see Snake River from one side of our RV and horses on the other side... ahhhhh, just lovely.


I wanted to share a couple of photos with you of our journey today across Utah which was so beautiful, but my camera man had technical difficulties :) and the card was blank so I thought I would post one from our previous journey for you to enjoy.


Yesterday we encountered our first angel named Coty.  He was tall, thin wearing a neon green T-shirt and had a construction worker's tan that was so golden.  You just couldn't see his wings but we know they were there.


When we arrived at our campground in Fort Bridger, Mark checked us in and there was one older gentleman in the office.  We parked on our site and started our usual setup only to find that the flashing on one side of the RV was hanging completely down and all of the screws were missing.  It was so windy traveling across Wyoming (30+ mph winds) that it apparently pulled it down and that there was probably just a screw or two holding it up originally.


I went to the office about 15 minutes later and now there were 3 gentlemen in the office.  I asked if they had anyone who could repair the RV after telling them what had happened and the first answer was no and the office manager was going to send me to the hardware store about 10 miles away.  (Fort Bridger has a population of about 400 so we are talking tiny town).  Coty then stood up and said let me take a look and came to our RV and said he had screws and a gun and he could fix it which he did and even added more screws than there were originally.  We tried to pay him because he had no idea what an angel he has been and he downright refused.  We let him know that he was our angel and could not thank him enough.   


Oh yeah, one other thing about this, Coty had just gotten to the office because the road work he was doing, the machine had just broke down and was going to take about a day to fix.  He said he wondered what he was going to do the rest of the day... God sent him at the right time just for us!!  Don't you just love when these things happen?


Tomorrow morning we will start our journey to Caldwell, ID.
